ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2013

Parents and team officials are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting

-  Season review

- Board election for 2012-2013
-Appointment of coordinators for various positions (divisional, equipment, uniforms, photo day)

For 15 weeks, from April 1 - July 12, a weekly team will be selected as the BMO Team of the Week. The winning team will be awarded with:

•   Official BMO Team of the Week Adidas track suits for the entire team

•   $500 to be used for team expenses

•   $500 to donate to the team's Canadian charity of choice

•   A BMO sponsored team celebration at a local BMO branch

 At the end of the 15 weeks, all weekly winners will be entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians as the BMO Team of the Week 2013 Champion. This team will win:

•   $125,00 field/facility refurbishment for the team's soccer club & community

•   $5,000 to donate to the team's Canadian charity of choice

•    An all expense paid trip for the entire team, coaching staff and chaperones to attend a Canadian MLS or a Canadian National team home match

•   2nd and 3rd place teams will receive 20 MLS autographed jerseys

From April 8th our Marpole Soccer Club’s Technical Director, Dino Anastopulos, along with his trainers will be running academy training for  U8 to U18 aged players.  The  particulars for Dino’s soccer academy are as follows:

There will be two sessions per week, Monday 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm at Memorial Turf and Thursday 6 pm to 7:15 pm at Oak Park West.  Please note, most sessions may run for an hour and a half.

The cost is $120 for 8 sessions a month and the kit cost is $40.

This clinic is free of charge and we encourage all of our coaches to attend.  For those of our players coaching our mini teams, there is a minimum age for all coach participants in this workshop, which is 16 years of age at the time of the Workshop. This is a prerequisite set by the Canadian Soccer Association and there will be no exceptions to this rule.
