Assessments for the U13 girls teams (Gold and Silver) will be held on Thursday, April 12th, 6:30 pm at Oak Park. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of the assessment to check in. Please email susan@marpolesoccer.com with the following information to register:

First and last name of player
Birth date
Previous team
Preferred position

There is a tryout fee of $10 for non Marpole Soccer Club registered players.

Registration for the 2012 – 2013 season is now open the following early bird registration fees in effect until June 30, 2012:

Micros 2007 – U6 2006 – U7	$125
Minis 2005 – U8 2004 – U9 2003 – U10	$175 after June 30, 2012 the fee is $195
Super 8′s 2002 – U11 2001 – U12	$175 after June 30, 2012 the fee is $195
Divisional 2000 – U13 1999 – U14 1998 – U15 1997 – U16 1996 – U17 1995 – U18	$205 after June 30, 2012 the fee is $225

BC Summer Games Soccer – Coaching Application Zone 5

The 2012 BC Summer Games are scheduled to take place July 19 – 22, 2012 in Surrey. At these games, the sport of soccer is open to athletes born in 2000 and 2001 and is being presented as a showcase event for the Provincial Sports Model and the British Columbia Soccer Association U12 small-sided game Super 8’s soccer program.

We are accepting applications for the U12 Girls and the U12 Boys coaching positions for Zone 5. All applicants must:

reside within Zone 5 (clarification on the make up of Zone 5 can be found at http://www.bcgames.org/dotnetnuke/Games/Zones/tabid/209/Default.aspx); and
have a minimum coaching certification at the Community Coach Senior level.

All interested parties are asked to fill out the attached Coaching Application and email it to Susan Dhillon at susandhillon@shaw.ca. Applications must be submitted by January 30, 2012. Successful candidates will be notified by early February, 2012 and we can then start the tryout process.

2005 and 2006 born boys and girls for our micro program

Soccer Camp Update

A big thank you to our guest coach from Greece, Georgios Foiros and to our Technical Director Dino Anastopulos for a successful soccer camp. Feedback from camp participants and their parents has been overwhelmingly positive and we all look forward to what Dino has to offer.

Thank you to our players and players from other soccer clubs for taking part in this camp.
