I wanted to send Marpole Soccer Club a reminder that there is only one month left to nominate your clubs youth soccer teams for BMO Team of the Week. If you haven’t done so already please make sure to inform your teams parents and coaches about this fantastic opportunity. The sooner a team registers the more opportunities they will have to win. In addition, the more teams that are nominated from your clubs the more chances your club will have at winning $125,000 to put towards bettering the communities soccer facilities.
BMO Team of the Week – Refresher
Until June 30, Canadian soccer coaches and parents can nominate their favourite youth soccer team (ages 7 to 12) by logging on to www.BMOsoccer.com.
A panel of judges will select 15 weekly winners, and each BMO Team of the Week receives $500, track suits and a gift to a charity of their choice. Teams will be judged based on team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game.
From August 1 to August 15, Canadians can vote among the15 finalists for their favourite team. The team with the most number of votes will be named the 2011 BMO Team of the Week Champion and will receive $125,000 toward a field refurbishment, a trip to see a Toronto FC or Vancouver Whitecaps FC home game, and $5,000 to a charity of their choice!
To date, we have already awarded seven weekly winners, but there is still time for your teams to win BMO Team of the Week! Get your nominations in today and have a chance to win these amazing prizes!

I still have lots of take cards (brochures) that are perfect for promoting this opportunity to parents and coaches.
